Ok, lets voice out on this a little bit.
According to the Guardian Newspaper, the Nigerian Government has declared the next two days a holiday in prep for the forthcoming elections http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article01 and several factions are calling a foul. The Nation had earlier this week returned from a two-day National Holiday.
The political dramas that have played out in recent times as well as the general state of affairs of the Nigerian nation, has prompted us to take a sample opinion poll to know whom you are hating on. We would try to publish a categorized result of our polls to show the state of mind of the average concerned persons.
I am hating on the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] for pulling out of the polls in Imo state for the forthcoming gubernitorial elections, and for all their inconsistencies across the polity.
Let's air it out..
Enjoy.

i am hating on all our highly "spiritual" countrypeople that prefer merely to pray for the country and not actually going out and doing something about it.
I am hating on all the potbellied old and tired politicians that tell us what we do, and worse I am hating on all of us for allowing them to do so.
RE: NA WAH
Per conversations on the right of the Abia State Governor to renege on the "Public Holiday" order, it would appear that part of the intent of S. 193(1) of the Nigerian constitution vests on the governor to determine the general directtion of the policies of the government of the State.
Furthermore, the oath of alliegance in the schedule to the Nigerian Constitution provides in part that the President shall not allow personal interests to influence his official conduct or official decisions.
Whilst this is arguable, if it can be proven that the declaration of a national holiday, though in the exclusive preserve of executive power, is tainted with political undertones or connotations, I would imagine that the executive office may have acted ultra vires the power reposed on it by the constitution.
Re: Na WAA
From all Indications, there would yet be another two days of National Holiday declared ahead of the Presidential elections next week.
Essentially, this would mean the economy has been shut down for three weeks in a row.
The pertinent question is: What consequence does this have on our economy?
